WILD ONES
Way out west in Montana we're deep into
the annual hunting season. Lewistown is
full of all sorts of exotic species from afar.
Unshaven Wall Street types garbed head
to toe in camouflage. Most hoping to bag
some trophy to take home and hang over
the mantel. It may be a vanquished beast.
Or that most elusive of creatures - which
is the perfect decorative element. Hence
in our experience its best to be brave and
go wild. And equally important to make
a statement. Like this Scalamandre zebra

One of our best vacations was a South African
safari. Each day we wandered the plains as we
roughed it. Being who we are we just looked.
Never taking a pot shot a innocent bystanders.
Each sunset we donned black tie and joined
our fellow explorers for dinner. There it was

than unfettered wildness mixed with curated
chic. One treasured souvenir from that trip is
