DON'T KNOCK IT TILL YOU'VE TRIED IT
Do you remember that old knock knock joke
that ended with "Orange you glad?" Many of
those most chic share my affection (addiction)
for said citrus hue. Especially the orange tone
that enrobes any tidbit in a box from Hermes.
As with all things, one can just as easily have
too much of a good thing. Which is why few
if any are willing to revisit that burnt orange
wall to wall of the past. One needn't emulate
a Cheeto to stand out from the hordes. Hence
the reason why I tote an orange Goyard wallet.
Once revealed, it offers up a subtle surprise
that proves less is always more than enough.
The older we get, comes the realization
that life is a repeat performance. House Beautiful just named Guava it's color of the moment. In their July/August issue
it's shown in a range of hues. To me it's
oddly reminiscent of an apricot of days gone by. Apparently any tone from rust
to orange to coral to apricot is perfectly peachy in modern schemes. No wonder
we used the hue for the wedding (right) created with our favorite floral partner - WILD IRIS. Why not stop and shop our
orange options? All ripe for the picking!
