TRAY MAGNIFIQUE

ALL SET
There is no better way to dish it out than
via the most elegant form of conveyance.
I personally adore trays. Not only are they
practical - given they keep one organized
they're also "tray" chic. Whether perched
on a coffee table or upholstered ottoman,
atop a sideboard or dresser, or sitting on
one's kitchen or bath counter. In our house
we've got multiple trays for infinite uses.
In the butler's pantry one insures that our
liquor is ready and waiting in it's place.
Whereas on my desk, a silver tray serves
as the perfect landing pad - i.e. in/out box.
STYLE TO GO
Now that summer has arrived, a tray enables one
to carry things to/from the house to the terrace.
Yet I can't quite figure out why it's always easier
going than coming! One doesn't need experience
as a waiter to understand that transferring multiple
assets is so much easier than one by one. Yet what
I most appreciate about a tray is that in essence it
offers one a platform for almost everything. And
somehow once you place an item of said plateau,
it assumes a new level of importance Hence trays
are springboards from which to shine! If nothing
else something set upon a tray seems all the more
elegant. Especially when it comes to serving tea.

BAR NONE
By it's very nature teatime is a civilized endeavor.
Providing plenty of reasons to stop, pause, and
savor the moment. As with another beverage oft
conveyed via a horizontal surface - cocktails.
Again, stopping to sip gives an excuse to seize
the moment. And little makes it simpler than a
classic tray table. Consider the charming version
that follows. Created by Maitland Smith over forty
years ago, it's leather wrapped and embossed tray
comes with a custom fitted table/stand that is also
leather wrapped. So whether you're into leather
or not, the combination makes it all the easier to
give or take. So why not take it home today?!
